Security footage captured Moreno Gamma throwing a Molotov cocktail at Altman’s property gate around 4:00 a.m. on a Friday, and later fleeing the scene while holding a jug believed to contain kerosene.
An hour after the attack on Altman’s home, Moreno Gamma appeared at OpenAI’s headquarters in downtown San Francisco. According to the criminal complaint, he threw a chair at the glass doors and attempted to set the building on fire, threatening to kill anyone inside. Police arrested him at the scene, and a subsequent FBI raid was conducted at his home in Spring, Texas.
