Monster Manor by Sora 2

In Monster Manor, retired monsters prepare for Halloween while keeping their magical powers secret, but when they run out of candy, they decide to share their magic with trick-or-treaters, leading to joy and acceptance. This experience helps them embrace their true selves and consider being open about their magic beyond Halloween, celebrating their uniqueness together.

In a small town near Candy Corn Village, at the end of Pumpkin Patch Lane, lies Monster Manor, home to retired ghouls, ghosts, and goblins. As Halloween approaches, the residents prepare for their biggest night of the year, when everyone comes for candy. The leader reminds everyone to smile and wave but strictly not to reveal their magical powers, as their special abilities must remain a secret. Shout-outs are given to the werewolf for decorating and Frankenstein for ensuring everyone has the correct costumes.

Halloween is a special day for the monsters because, unlike other days when people run away from them, everyone is kind and accepting. However, the residents must still hide their secret powers and tricks, especially Jacko’Lantern, who is reminded not to show off his abilities. Count Dracula is tasked with picking up the Halloween candy, but he struggles with running errands during the daylight, causing some tension among the group.

As the night approaches, the monsters realize they have no treats to give out because Dracula couldn’t get the candy. This creates a dilemma, and some suggest offering tricks instead of treats. Although initially hesitant because they are supposed to hide their magic, the monsters decide to try showing their powers just this once. They invite trick-or-treaters inside, explaining they have no treats but can offer magical tricks.

The children are amazed and delighted by the magical tricks, asking for more. This experience leads the monsters to a new understanding: Halloween is a time when anyone can be whoever they want to be. The joy and acceptance they feel encourage them to consider sharing their magic openly, not just on Halloween but throughout the year.

The story ends on a warm note, with the monsters embracing their true selves and enjoying each other’s company. On quiet autumn nights near Pumpkin Patch Lane, laughter and occasional spooky sounds can be heard, but there is no need to fear. It’s just the monsters of Monster Manor finally being themselves and celebrating their unique magic together.
